Material Explorer

The Material Explorer is a module that allows users to display and search for materials based on properties. It is comprised of a table of property data and an Ashby chart that compares properties for all materials in your library. It leverages the “Material” SMART Tag and associated “Property” and “Unit” tags to sift through your library and extract all property data. The material catalog is organized by the Property SMARTree including all property catalogs. Material sub groups are organized by SMART Tags associated with those materials, for example 3D, fibers, fabrics, lamina etc. This allows for easy screening of materials based on these tagged groups.
