Image Analysis Module
The Image Analysis Module is used to extract information from test images. Examples of data includes fiber, resin or void fraction within a photomicrograph including threshold distribution within the image. The YouTube video to the right highlights the features of this module.
DIC Module
The DIC (Digital Image Correlation) module can analyze a sequence of images and calculate relative displacement and strain from a baseline image, typically the first image of a sequence. Pixel to physical size is calculated by drawing a line from two points of known separation. The user can extract single points, a linear set of points or a grid domain and plot in an external spreadsheet.
